Tigre, Argentine Experience (part 1)


Tigre is a very cute town on the river delta about an hour train ride out of Buenos Aires. It's a place where people like to go escape from the big city to e joy being outside, maybe renting boats for the rivers or taking a picnic. Even the train station at Tigre was adorable:

Canals run through the town, giving it a slightly Venice or Amsterdam feel, down to cute little canal boats offering tours.

This is also apparently a place where the posh of Buenos Aires come to row:



We walked through the Puerto de Frutos, a large mix of stores and outdoor market. On all the signs around Tigre, they have a tiger face, and on some signs the tiger face is peeking out from behind the sign in a manner than it somewhere between cute and sinister.
